Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and hospitality-focused professional to our team in this seasonal Bartender role. This position offers an opportunity to create exceptional experiences for our members and guests while working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment alongside a talented food and beverage team.
Position Type:
Part-time, Seasonal Shifts :
Various schedules available; however, candidates must be available to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Compensation:
$17.00/hour

Job Overview:
We are looking for a candidate responsible for Bartending in the à la carte and banquet operations, catering to all members and guests' needs according to established rules and etiquette. Bartenders work closely with buster/food runners, servers, and the culinary team to provide members and guests with an enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and prepare bars and banquet room bars for regular service and events. Receive orders and prepare drinks for regular service or events. Have familiarity with all types of drink services that are served for our Members and guests. Bartenders are responsible for serving alcoholic beverages consistent with the laws of New Jersey. Takes orders, and serves food and beverage in a professional and efficient manner to Members and their guests. Understands ALL menus and is able to take orders and make suggestions. Able to follow up with proper entering into a point-of-sale system. Maintains a clean, orderly appearance of the restaurant service area and follows all proper sanitation guidelines. Develop the knowledge of Member's names and preferences to enhance the personalization of service. Responsible for setting up, breaking down, cleanliness, and sanitation in the bar area.
Requirements:
ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate and Alcohol Certificate. Able to work flexible hours and various shifts (including: nights, weekends, and holidays). Responsible, dependable, organized, and punctual. Strong communication skills. Positive Attitude. Knowledge of service etiquette and protocol. Familiarity with fine dining operations. Working knowledge of culinary, fine spirit, wine, and beer terminology. The ability to climb stairs and lift up to 35 lbs. daily is required. Standing for long periods of time.
