Job Description

Together, we're reimagining what hospitality can do—for people, for places, and for the future. Ōme Caterers is currently seeking a Bartender to join our on-call team. The ideal candidate will have solid bartending experience, a passion for mixology, and a strong knowledge of classic cocktails, local beers, and wines.
What You'll Do:
Bartending:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring each drink meets our quality standards.
Customer Service:
Engage with guests, offer drink recommendations, and ensure that each guest enjoys an exceptional experience at the bar.
Cocktail Knowledge:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of classic cocktail recipes and be able to create and customize drinks based on guest preferences.
Knowledge of Beer & Wine:
Provide guests with recommendations on local beers and wines, ensuring they have a variety of options based on their tastes.
Bar Maintenance:
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift. Ensure that all glassware, tools, and supplies are in working order.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and communicate with management to ensure that the bar is adequately stocked for daily operations.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure the bar runs smoothly and that guest needs are met quickly and effectively. Assist with event operations and guest service as directed by event captain, ensuring smooth execution of setup, service, and breakdown
Health & Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and sanitation protocols.
Requirements What We Need From You:
Prior bartending experience required; catering or event bartending experience preferred Current TIPS Certification required Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift cases, coolers, and bar equipment as needed Must have reliable transportation, as this position requires travel to various event venues throughout the region Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor Availability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays Benefits What you'll get from us: Work alongside collaborative team members who support Ōme Caterer's core values and are eager to be a part of our team Drivers License a plus with opportunity for additional event pay Compensation $30.00 per hour Flexible, on-call scheduling Opportunities to work a variety of corporate, social, wedding, and private events Travel stipend provided for events located more than 30 miles from the employee's home base
