As a vital support to bartenders and the overall service team, you will ensure the bar area remains clean, stocked, and ready to serve. Duties Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing stations regularly. Restock bar supplies such as liquor bottles, mixers, garnishes, and utensils to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including prepping garnishes or simple snacks for guests. Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas efficiently. Support bartenders by retrieving ice, opening bottles, and handling cash or POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Help set up and break down event spaces for banquets or catering functions, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-organized. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs in a fast-paced nightclub or hospitality setting. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience working in nightclubs, banquet settings, catering events, or hotel food service is highly desirable. Strong cleaning skills with attention to hygiene standards required for food handling and safety compliance. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or bussing tables. Knowledge of food preparation, barista experience, or serving skills will be advantageous.
