Overview Join our vibrant team as a Salad Bar Attendant and become a key player in delivering fresh, healthy, and visually appealing options to our guests! In this lively role, you'll be responsible for maintaining an inviting salad bar station, ensuring all food items are prepared, replenished, and presented with care. Your enthusiasm for food service and customer satisfaction will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh salads, vegetables, toppings, and dressings according to established standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly Replenish food items promptly to ensure the salad bar remains fully stocked throughout service hours Monitor food safety practices by adhering to proper food handling procedures and temperature controls Assist guests with selections, answer questions about ingredients, and promote menu options with friendly enthusiasm Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure quality standards are met Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions when applicable Requirements Previous kitchen experience or food preparation background preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-oriented attitude Experience with cashiering or POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Basic knife skills and familiarity with food presentation techniques are advantageous Prior experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is beneficial but not mandatory Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by serving fresh, delicious salads in a fast-paced, energetic atmosphere!
