Lead Bartender

Our culture prioritizes both client and team member experience. We're seeking an experienced and professional Venue Bar Manager with a strong focus on bar operations to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all beverage service operations, lead a team of bartenders, and ensure exceptional service and execution at every event. You'll collaborate directly with clients, manage inventory and costs, and maintain the highest standards of hospitality and efficiency. This is a full-time salaried position (range), with an anticipated work week averaging 40-45 hours . Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of bartenders to prioritize exceptional guest service, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Employee Scheduling and Prep work Bar & Beverage Meetings with Clients to finalize Plans Maintain and analyze beverage costs, inventory, and bar packages to ensure profitability Manage inventory levels, estimate event beverage needs, and place orders for liquor, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, mixers, garnishes, equipment, and other supplies Supervise and lead bar plans and identify opportunities for upselling within beverage packages Work closely with clients to provide expert guidance on bar selections and customize packages for their events Monitor portion control and preparation quantities to reduce waste and ensure consistent quality Uphold guest safety by following escalation procedures, ensuring responsible service, and adhering to liquor laws and company policies Enforce cleanliness and sanitation standards for food and beverage handling; maintain cleanliness across bar, kitchen, and event spaces Perform managerial duties including scheduling, daily decision-making, coaching, and team leadership while maintaining high standards for quality and service Oversee bar staff, including hiring, training, development, and when necessary, termination Inventory and Ordering for Each event

• Organize & Communicate with Vendors Investigate and resolve issues related to bar quality or service, ensuring overall client satisfaction Oversee Venue Operations and Events

• display plan Qualifications & Requirements At least 2 years of management experience in the wedding, events, or hospitality industry Minimum of 3 years experience in a venue, bar, catering, or restaurant setting ServSafe or TIPS certification required Demonstrated expertise in cocktails, bar service, and beverage management Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of urgency; self-directed with excellent problem-solving skills Commitment to maintaining high service and quality standards Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required Availability to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules Proficiency in venue management and working with a team to provide a friendly experience
