Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Handle cash handling duties including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and coordinate catering or special event needs when applicable. Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally in a lively environment. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending or restaurant service, particularly within fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bars. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with beverage recipes, mixology techniques, wine knowledge, spirits, and cocktail creation. Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability to develop new beverage recipes and contribute creatively to the bar menu. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety knowledge for proper food handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as serving or catering is highly valued; certification in food safety is preferred but not required.
