Bartender

Full job description Rumson Country Club is seeking a highly motivated bartender with experience, to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations. Responsibilities Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff. Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered. Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar. Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized. Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Skills Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service. Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers. Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons. Computer literacy Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks. Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately. Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds. Must be legal drinking age or older.
