Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Day Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and deliver prompt, friendly service. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times. Engage with guests in a welcoming manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Assist in setting up banquet events or catering services as needed, supporting the overall guest experience. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; communicate needs to management proactively. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Jonas or Micros POS is essential for order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, with an understanding of responsible beverage service practices.
