Bartender

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Bartender, where your energy and passion for service will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will craft exceptional drinks, provide outstanding customer service, and ensure a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, banquet environment or casino environment, you'll be the heartbeat of the bar area, engaging with patrons and delivering top-tier hospitality. Your expertise in gaming, beverage preparation, and POS systems will be essential to your success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, while managing tabs and processing payments seamlessly. Restock bar supplies regularly and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of popular drinks and ingredients.

Gaming Assistance :

Monitor bar-top gaming machines (e.g., video poker, keno) and assist guests with their needs while they play. [1]

Cashiering & Payouts:

Accurately operate POS systems, handle cash, balance registers, and occasionally assist with processing minor jackpot payouts. [1, 2]

Compliance & Safety:

Enforce state/local drinking laws, verify customer IDs, and monitor for responsible gaming behaviors. Uphold responsible serving practices by monitoring guest intoxication levels and adhering to alcohol service laws. Assist with banquet or nightclub events by setting up bars, serving guests, and managing multiple orders efficiently through effective time management skills. Experience Previous bartending experience in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for order processing and sales tracking. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse clientele. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry. Experience working in retail math or hospitality environments that require basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards. Prior experience in catering or food service roles that involve serving large groups or managing multiple tasks simultaneously is advantageous.
