A Bartender mixes and prepares cocktails and serves drinks to customers. Works with other wait staff in a bar or restaurant; checks to be sure that customers are legal drinking age. May work at private parties.
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a relaxed, upscale setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in crafting a variety of cocktails, offering wine and beer selections, and providing personalized service to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for all patrons. Bartenders should be knowledgeable, attentive, and able to multitask effectively while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and serve a variety of classic, contemporary, and signature cocktails with precision and artistry. Provide an engaging and memorable experience for guests through personalized recommendations and storytelling about cocktails and spirits. Maintain a deep understanding of premium liquors, wine, beer, and cocktail ingredients, including sourcing local and sustainable options when available. Uphold all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment. Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner. Take drink orders, offer recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction. Follow standardized recipes for mixed drinks and cocktails, and create signature drinks when appropriate. Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout the shift. Monitor and clean the bar area regularly, including cleaning glassware and utensils, wiping down counters, and removing waste. Take customer payments and handle cash, room charges, credit card transactions, and tab management accurately. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to alcohol service, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age. Communicate effectively with other team members and managers to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Minimum of 2 years of prior bartending or mixologist experience Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and bartending tools. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences. Possess an upbeat, positive, motivated and professional personality. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced and often loud environment
