Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and bar management will help ensure every guest has a memorable experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and standards Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service flow during busy hours and special events Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender with strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail creation, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service Previous experience in fine dining is preferred Food safety standards and proper handling of beverages and food items Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately Experience in beverage recipe development and understanding of beverage trends is a plus
Pay:
From $11.35 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
