Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Barback, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you'll be the backbone of the bar operation, supporting bartenders and ensuring the bar area remains clean, organized, and fully stocked. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, efficient atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced nightlife or hospitality environment while working alongside passionate professionals. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware swiftly and accurately to maintain smooth service flow Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by cleaning glasses, utensils, and surfaces regularly, adhering to food handling and safety standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas promptly to ensure a tidy environment Support food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or assisting with light food service when needed Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing with precision Help with setup and breakdown of events, including banquet or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are organized and ready for service Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable; banquet or hotel experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering and order management Strong cleaning skills with knowledge of food handling standards and sanitation practices Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting Experience in bussing, serving, or barista roles demonstrates adaptability within the food industry Knowledge of food preparation, catering support, or kitchen experience enhances your ability to excel in this role Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your proactive spirit fuels exceptional guest experiences.
