Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order. Take customer orders efficiently, using the Aloha POS system to process transactions accurately. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drink selections and food pairings to enhance the guest experience. Adhere to food safety and handling regulations, ensuring compliance with health standards. Manage cash register operations, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing the till at the end of shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining high service standards. Qualifications Previous bartending experience is preferred; familiarity with mixology techniques is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Proficiency in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS or similar systems. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members alike. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
