Bartender

Maizal Mexican Kitchen & Mezcaleria is looking to bring in a new bartender! Join a high energy environment with a full menu of classic Mexican cocktails featuring fresh squeezed juices and a 500+ bottle selection of mezcal and tequila. We are looking for an energetic bartender that looks to provide guests with a warm and welcoming experience. If you are friendly, consistent, and love tequila, then we want to meet you!

Responsibilities:

Warmly greet, acknowledge, and takes guests drink and food order; use complete knowledge of bar and food menus to provide information, and look for educational opportunities for guests. Responsible for bar knowledge including, but not limited to, mezcal, tequila, agave spirits, and our full cocktail menu. Engage guests and take food and beverage orders in a timely, friendly and professional manner. Answer questions and respond appropriately to any guest concerns. Process all point-of-sale transactions in a quick, efficient manner. Work together with fellow employees and management to ensure all guests have the best experience possible. Maintain a clean, organized work environment. Support other areas of the bar as requested, such as seating customers, stock work, cleanup, and documentation. Ensure responsible service of alcohol. Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards; observing proper food handling techniques. Performing other work-related duties as assigned
