Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend beverages that enhance their experience. Maintain thorough knowledge of drink recipes, beverage ingredients, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and tabs efficiently. Uphold food safety and sanitation standards by properly handling food and beverages, cleaning workstations regularly, and adhering to health regulations. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to management proactively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and assist with food service when needed. Develop new beverage recipes or modify existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests. Provide excellent customer service by creating a lively atmosphere, addressing guest inquiries promptly, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems is essential for processing transactions efficiently. Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, craft beer selection, and spirits is required. Experience in fine dining settings or hospitality industry roles will help you excel in delivering top-tier service. Familiarity with food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices is necessary for maintaining health compliance. Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail is crucial. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order processing are essential for success in this role.
