Bartender

Bartender - East Rock Coffee | Garden City, NY East Rock Coffee is looking for a strong, experienced bartender to join our Garden City team. We are seeking someone with great energy, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Our café transforms from a daytime coffee destination into an elevated brunch and cocktail experience, so we are looking for a bartender who can create a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining speed, professionalism, and consistency behind the bar.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, espresso martinis, specialty drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Deliver exceptional customer service and guest interaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
• Handle high-volume brunch and weekend service efficiently
• Monitor inventory, garnishes, mixers, and bar prep
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
• Work closely with management and team members to maintain smooth operations
• Assist with opening and closing procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years bartending experience required
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations
• High-volume experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Professional appearance and hospitality-driven mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Weekend and brunch availability required
