In this role, you'll work closely alongside our team of catering staff to provide guests with a fun, welcoming, and safe experience. You'll be responsible for providing friendly and efficient beverage service while maintaining a professional and positive presence throughout each event. Because we work in a fast-paced catering environment, punctuality, professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently are essential. The ideal candidate is comfortable staying organized and moving quickly while remaining attentive to guests and supporting the team wherever needed. This is primarily a weekend position, with shifts available based on our event schedule. We're looking for someone who has reliable weekend availability and can commit to working regularly when events are scheduled. While we understand that this may not be a full-time commitment, consistent availability is key for this role. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience. Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage recipes Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times. Uphold food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service support during busy hours or special events. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments or high-volume bars. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Previous food service experience with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Experience in bar management or supervising bartending staff is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively through excellent time management skills. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and accurate billing.
