Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant tap room team as a dynamic and energetic Bartender! In this role, you will be the heart of the customer experience, mixing and serving craft beverages with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your lively personality, combined with your expertise in beverage service, will create memorable moments for our guests. Whether you're pouring pints, recommending brews, or engaging with patrons, your positive energy will help foster a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced environment dedicated to craft brewing and exceptional service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Mix, pour, and serve a variety of beers, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately Manage POS systems to process orders swiftly and correctly Maintain knowledge of our beer offerings, including brewing details and tasting notes, to educate and recommend options to customers Ensure all food safety and food handling standards are followed diligently during beverage preparation and serving Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked by monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and managing guest consumption responsibly Collaborate with team members during busy nights or events such as trivia nights or banquet functions to ensure seamless service Experience Previous bartending experience in a tap room, brewery, nightclub, or fine dining environment is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements for ID verification and alcohol service policies Knowledge of brewing processes or beer varieties is a plus for engaging knowledgeable customers Background in catering or banquet service can be beneficial for event-based shifts Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations Pay / Shifts Shifts are available for Thursday 4-10, Friday 4-11, Saturday 2-11 and Sunday 2-6 Pay is $16.50/hour + Tips (usually totals $25-$40 per hour) Join us if you're passionate about craft beverages, thrive in lively environments like tap rooms or nightclubs, and want to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.
