Bartenders Position Type:

Full-Time & Part-Time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and refined Bartenders to help create the opening team of a new Hudson Valley Cocktail bar. The ideal candidate possesses an extensive knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, an understanding of spirits, wine, and craft beer, and the ability to deliver professional service.

Responsibilities Craft & Execution:

Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers with precision, speed, and beautiful presentation, adhering to our established recipes and standards.

Guest Engagement:

Provide welcoming, and attentive hospitality. Anticipate guest needs, offer personalized recommendations, and build rapport to encourage repeat patronage.

Beverage Knowledge:

Maintain an understanding of our menu, including flavor profiles, spirit origins and wine.

Bar Maintenance:

Keep the establishment and workstations clean, organized, and stocked. Adhere to all strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Inventory & Prep:

Perform opening and closing duties, including prepping fresh juices, syrups, and garnishes. Assist with inventory tracking and restocking.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of bartending experience

Product Knowledge:

familiarity with spirits (e.g., small-batch bourbons, single-malt scotches, agave spirits) general wine and beer knowledge.

Efficiency:

Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure during peak service hours while maintaining a clean workstation.

Physical criteria:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs (ice, kegs, liquor cases), and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
