Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a full time/ part time/ or seasonal bartender for a private country club located on Shelter Island. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and member preferences Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, equipment, and workstations Deliver exceptional service to create a positive, memorable member experience. Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Assist with opening and closing duties, including monthly inventory
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a team environment High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous bartending or hospitality experience required Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds. TIPS training a plus
Work Environment:
Evenings, weekends, holidays required.
Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
