Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and engaging bartender to join our team at our Mexican cantina in Stephentown, NY. Our bar program centers on classic and craft cocktails, an extensive tequila and mezcal selection, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, personable, and thrives in a lively, full-service bar environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to bar and dining room guests Demonstrate solid knowledge of tequila, mezcal, and Mexican-inspired cocktails such as margaritas, palomas, and micheladas Provide attentive, professional service while maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels throughout the shift Process transactions accurately and handle cash and card payments Complete opening and closing duties including inventory counts and restocking Collaborate with front-of-house staff to support an efficient overall dining experience Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar setting Familiarity with Mexican spirits, classic cantina cocktails, and beer and wine service Must meet minimum age requirement to serve alcohol in New York State (18+) Strong multitasking ability and composure during high-volume service Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Tips in addition to base pay Meals provided during shifts Opportunity to grow with a multi-location operation Join our team as a Bartender where your enthusiasm meets your expertise!
