As a Server, you will be responsible for serving a variety of Italian foods in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our guests. While managing dine-in service, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean section and service station throughout service. Good communication and time management skills are a must! We are a growing company seeking individuals who can dedicate at least one year to the role, not only for the business, but to also grow a team member and take the experience with you, wherever your path leads. Our goal by the end of the year is to be considering expansion plans, so lots of dialing in food costs/execution/waste and labor where necessary. There will always be room for growth so long as our trajectory is up, the prospect of becoming a floor supervisor/manager, bar manager and anything pertaining to service could present itself as a great opportunity. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences. This is secondary to service requirements. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service areas. Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels and assist in communicating supply concerns as needed to ensure stations are well stocked. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices when behind the bar. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable, ensuring timely delivery of orders. Skills Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Experience in food service or retail math to accurately process transactions and manage inventory. Proficient in cash handling and operation of cash registers or POS systems. Basic math skills for accurate drink preparation measurements and financial transactions. Knowledge of dining etiquette and cocktail preparation techniques is preferred as we seek to improve our bar program and service standards. Previous experience in a bar setting AND full table-service is requested, showcasing your ability to thrive in high-energy environments. Social skills to entertain and keep all guests happy.
