Rooted in classic French technique with a thoughtful touch of Latin American influence, Manna is designed to feel like an escape — layered, textured, and intentional in every detail. Led by our Bar Manager, Jackson Wolph, the bar at Manna is not simply a service station — it is a focal point of the room. We build long-standing favorites our guests return for, while refining seasonal offerings that reflect balance, restraint, and depth. Every cocktail is crafted with the same care and standard as the food coming from the kitchen. We're looking for a hardworking, dependable Barback who wants to be part of a professional bar team and contribute to exceptional guest experiences. What's the job actually like? You're the support system that keeps the bar moving. While bartenders are guest-facing, you're making sure they have everything they need to deliver seamless service. You'll be constantly moving, anticipating needs, and helping create an environment where both the team and guests can thrive. Whether you're new to hospitality or looking to expand your experience, this position provides exposure to every aspect of a professional bar program. You'll work alongside experienced bartenders and managers while gaining firsthand experience with cocktail preparation, wine service, restaurant operations, and the pace of a busy dining room. For those interested in growing within the industry, this role offers a strong foundation and a natural pathway into future front-of-house positions.
You'll:
Stock liquor, wine, beer, glassware, and bar supplies Wash, polish, and organize glassware Assist with cocktail prep, batching, syrups, garnishes, and daily setup Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service Anticipate the needs of the bartenders and support service flow Assist with opening and closing duties Work closely with the entire front-of-house team to create a seamless guest experience Our bar is creative but structured. There's room to learn, ask questions, and grow — but standards matter. Who thrives here?
Someone who:
Works with urgency and attention to detail Takes pride in organization and cleanliness Enjoys being part of a team and supporting others Communicates clearly and respectfully Can stay focused and productive during busy services Is curious about hospitality, cocktails, wine, and service Wants to learn and grow within the restaurant industry Shows up consistently and takes ownership of their responsibilities No barback experience is required, but restaurant experience is a plus.

Yes — you'll do some heavy lifting. It's a restaurant. What matters most is your willingness to learn, support your team, and take pride in your work. Why land here? We believe in developing talent from within, and many hospitality professionals begin their careers in support roles before moving into server, bartender, and leadership positions.
