As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you will help ensure the bar area runs smoothly, efficiently, and cleanly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, has a passion for hospitality, and wants to be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about the food and beverage industry. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware throughout the shift. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash. Support food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks or preparing simple bar snacks when needed. Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and surrounding areas to keep the space tidy. Help with setup and breakdown during shifts, including organizing supplies and resetting the bar for service. Ensure compliance with food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours. Skills Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or bar support roles is a plus but not required. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is beneficial for handling transactions efficiently. Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment at all times. Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with bartenders, servers, and guests. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced nightclub or restaurant setting while staying organized. Basic food handling knowledge and experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about beverage service and hospitality operations.
