In this role, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and welcoming environment for our guests by expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your beverage expertise while contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests professionally to understand their preferences and recommend beverage options tailored to their tastes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibilities with precision. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the bar's menu offerings by applying knowledge of mixology and beverage trends. Manage bar inventory effectively, monitor stock levels, and communicate supply needs proactively. Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying guest age and monitoring consumption to promote safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Uphold high standards of hospitality industry practices while providing energetic and attentive service. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficient in processing cash transactions accurately. Strong understanding of food safety protocols, beverage recipe development, and food handling procedures. Experience working in hospitality environments that require excellent time management skills and multitasking abilities. Background in food service or restaurant operations with knowledge of beverage sales strategies. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events; previous nightclub or catering experience is advantageous. Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and inventory management. TJB01
