This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work both as a server in our dining room or behind our bar. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems. Engage with guests to recommend drinks, menu items, and specials to enhance their dining experience. Manage cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in processing payments and tips. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills. Uphold hospitality industry standards by providing friendly, attentive service that encourages repeat visits. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or server in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; prior bar management experience is a plus. Extensive cocktail experience along with beverage recipe development skills. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, brewing processes, and craft beer trends. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Food safety certification or knowledge of proper food handling procedures is preferred. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and processing transactions accurately. Experience with mixology techniques, beverage presentation, and spirits knowledge is highly desirable. Hospitality industry experience including catering or banquet service is advantageous.
