The Spring of 2026 will open with a brand-new clubhouse, a state-of-the-art dining room and bar, a new pool facility, and an exciting new menu and concept. Pay starts at $15 per hour plus tips. Job Summary The Bartender is responsible for providing guests with beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverage services at the club's bar locations. The role sustains a high level of customer service through demonstration of working bartender knowledge and courteous and professional customer interaction. The role creates and serves a wide range of beverages to customers in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner and is responsible for preparing cocktails, pouring and serving drinks, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable bar experience for customers. Bartenders are required to know how to make classic cocktails, learn house recipes, and be knowledgeable with drink nomenclature and variations. Job Responsibilities Prepares and serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and mixed drinks, according to standard recipes, house recipes, and customer preferences.
Greets customers, takes drink orders, and provides friendly, prompt, and attentive service. Engages with customers, answers their questions, and makes recommendations based on their preferences.
Fulfills service bar tickets from servers for dining room guests accurately and in a timely manner.
Serves event bar patrons when assigned to event functions.
Handles cash and processes customer payments accurately. Maintains an organized cash register and ensures proper documentation of transactions.
Displays a thorough understanding of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, their ingredients, and appropriate serving techniques. Stays updated with current beverage trends and new products.
Adheres to local and state alcohol service regulations. Monitors customer alcohol consumption and intervenes when necessary to prevent overconsumption or underage drinking.
Follows health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of glassware, adherence to food safety practices, and maintaining cleanliness of the bar area. Reports any maintenance or safety issues to management.
Sustains a high level of customer service through friendly interaction and conversations with guests. Collaborates with other hospitality team members as needed to ensure a high level of customer service is provided.
Makes recommendations on beverage selections based on knowledge of menu and products. Communicates with the Culinary team regarding the menu and special request items.
Responsible for setting up and breaking down an event bar when assigned to an event function.
Responsible for following banquet event order details for bar selections at assigned events.
Understands how each Hospitality location operates and ensures thorough knowledge of event specifics.
Maintains quality and function of equipment and storage spaces by following correct operating and cleaning procedures. Job Qualifications 0-2+ years of experience in Bartending or a related field.
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age. Ohio law (ORC 4301.22) requires employees pouring drinks and serving liquor and/or wine over a bar attain a minimum age of 21 years. Behavioral Competencies Collaborates
