Job Description

Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Prior knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and cocktail recipes is essential. Candidates must pass background and drug screening per Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license (Medical Marijuana cards are accepted). Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays—is required. Additionally, a valid liquor serving license and food handler's certification are necessary. Frequent lifting, occasionally in excess of 50lbs, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and standing expected.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The primary responsibility of our Bartender/Servers is to create an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere for guests during their dining and bar experience. This includes providing excellent and timely service while maintaining clear communication with the back of house to ensure accuracy of orders. To deliver a consistently high-quality experience, strict adherence to recipes, procedures, and checklists is necessary. Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences, while recommending drinks, upselling specials, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in both bar and restaurant areas. Ensure all alcohol is served responsibly and in full compliance with state laws and company policies, including verifying legal drinking age and politely refusing service when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware. Accurately take and input food and beverage orders using the POS system, deliver orders efficiently, and ensure quality and presentation standards are met. Handle cash, process payments, and accurately balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift. Provide knowledgeable and courteous responses to guest inquiries about the menu, ingredients, and dietary options. Adhere to uniform requirements and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing KGI.
