Overview Join our vibrant golf club team as a Barback and become a vital part of delivering exceptional hospitality experiences! In this energetic role, you'll support our bartenders and service staff by ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and ready to serve. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax, enjoy great drinks, and have memorable moments. This paid position offers fantastic tips and opportunities to grow within the hospitality industry! Duties Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware swiftly and efficiently to keep service flowing smoothly Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including cleaning counters, sinks, glassware, and bar equipment in accordance with food safety standards Buss tables and clear empty dishes to ensure a tidy environment for guests and staff Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving kegs or crates safely Support food service operations by assisting with food prep, plating, or delivery when needed Ensure compliance with all food handling, safety protocols, and alcohol service regulations at all times Use POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with cash handling or order processing when required Skills Proven experience in food service, bar, or restaurant environments; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus Strong knowledge of bar cleaning, food handling, and beverage service procedures Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and inventory counts accurately Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cashiering tasks Experience in catering or hotel food service environments is advantageous Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and handle manual handling tasks safely Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
