Bar Lead/Assistant Manager:

High-level bartending skillset (4+ years): technique, palate and consistency Proven leadership experience in the industry Humility and a willingness to learn and teach Organized, thoughtful approach A natural leader that can innovate and take direction well Responsible food and alcohol service standards

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Act as on-site leader and decision maker when the GM and ownership are absent Able to run the building just like the GM by learning our inventory, scheduling, and vendor systems Adhere to all standards and systems with care, ensuring that service is efficient and warm Able to balance firm leadership and execution behind the bar and on the floor Ability to feel and understand the flow of the bar. Knowing when to reset pace for staff and focus on the guest experience is vital Calmly manage ticket times and bottlenecks Willing to learn every position in the building and jump in when necessary, including the kitchen and back of house. Set the tone every shift, behind the bar or managing the floor, with professionalism and kindness Train and coach other staff to align with Alchemy's goals and vision Maintain consistency in the bar program, cleanliness, cocktails specs, and technique for yourself and the bar staff Manage nightly cash and comps responsibly Monitoring inventory and communicating needs to the GM Build relationships and read the room confidently Lead the way in setting and embodying Alchemy's culture: kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail Full Time Position $25/hr while managing $10/hr+tips while bartending
