Qualifications:
Proven sales experience in restaurant or hospitality settings, including upselling and suggestive sellingExperience with POS systems and OpenTable (or similar)Strong hospitality, communication, and customer service skillsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionallyAbility to thrive under pressure, multitask, and take initiativeComfortable learning new technology and adapting to changeMust obtain a Food Handler card and OLCC server permitMust pass a criminal background check
Responsibilities:
Open and close the restaurant (lifting up to 50 lbs.)Greet and welcome guests, providing warm and attentive serviceTake orders, run food, pre-buss/buss, and set tablesExplain menu items and make recommendations, including drinksActively promote specials, high-margin items, and drinks; upsell and suggestively sell to maximize guest satisfaction and revenuePrepare drinks and maintain the bar and service areasClean, restock, and maintain dining areasManage reservations and communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH staffAddress guest inquiries, issues, or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experienceFollow restaurant policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned
