Cashier/Server/Bartender

Job Overview Stacks Dinner & Delicatessen is an exciting new fast casual restaurant in the Old Mill from the owners of Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails. We will serve NYC-inspired, hand carved hot pastrami, corned beef, cured fish, rotisserie meats, and more, all proudly produced in house using the best PNW ingredients. We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Server to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and enthusiasm. Experience in food preparation, POS systems, and food safety standards is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties Take customer orders accurately using Toast. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when necessary, demonstrating culinary experience and teamwork Manage customer inquiries courteously, providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience Ensure proper food safety procedures are followed at all times, including proper sanitation and storage of food items Experience Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred. Must have a vaild OLCC and Food Handlers Card Familiarity with Toast is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing sales transactions effectively Prior restaurant experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills is highly desirable Join our team to deliver exceptional service while working with a great team!
