Known for our welcoming atmosphere, loyal regulars, and friendly service, we're the kind of place where guests know each other's names and new faces quickly become familiar ones. We're looking for bartenders who enjoy being part of a close-knit community, building relationships with guests, and creating an experience that keeps people coming back. The Role We are hiring both f ull-time and part-time Bartenders to join our team at Highlands Brew Pub. Our ideal candidate is experienced behind the bar, comfortable serving guests throughout the restaurant, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. Highlands has a strong base of regular guests, and we're looking for outgoing individuals who bring energy, positivity, and a great attitude to every shift. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys working in a community-focused environment, and wants to make a positive impact on both guests and teammates. What You'll Do Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly Provide exceptional service to guests at the bar and throughout the dining room Build relationships with regular guests and create a welcoming environment Maintain compliance with OLCC alcohol service laws and company policies Process orders accurately and efficiently through the POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area Work closely with fellow bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and management Contribute to a positive team culture and memorable guest experiences What We're Looking For Previous bartending experience required Previous serving experience preferred Strong knowledge of beer, cocktails, spirits, and responsible alcohol service Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude Full-time candidates must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand and move throughout a shift and lift up to 30 pounds Requirements Current OLCC Service Permit, or ability to obtain before employment Current Oregon Food Handler Card, or ability to obtain before employment Must be at least 21 years of age What We Offer Full-time and part-time opportunities available Flexible scheduling High tip earning potential Opportunities for growth and development A fun, supportive workplace with a strong neighborhood following If you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy connecting with people, and want to be part of a neighborhood brew pub where relationships matter, we'd love to hear from you.
