Server/Bartender 305 Strand Street, Saint Helens, OR 97051 From $15.05 an hour - Part-time From $15.05 an hour - Part-time Job Summary Riverside Grill and Catering is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional guest service skills, ensuring that every patron enjoys a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages and food in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation for guests ordering food at the bar. Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for managing reservations or guest seating when necessary. Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the food industry, ensuring compliance with local laws regarding alcohol service. Requirements Previous experience as a bartender in a fine dining setting is preferred. Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be of legal drinking age and possess OLCC and food handlers certificate.
