Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, including nightclubs and banquet events. Uphold all food handling, safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies. Assist in bar management tasks such as scheduling, training new staff, and maintaining a positive team environment. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing processes. Proven experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and create a lively atmosphere. Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while adhering to standard measures and food safety protocols. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate measurement of ingredients. Experience in food service or restaurant settings with knowledge of food handling standards.
