Role:
We are looking for a highly reliable, driven hospitality professional to step into a key leadership role at Italian Village Trattoria. This position is perfect for an experienced bartender or lead server who is ready to take on management and closing responsibilities without completely giving up their time (and tips) behind the bar. You will work up to 40 hours a week at a flat $17.00/hour base rate. Two of those shifts will be spent behind the bar, where you will keep 100% of your earned tips and step into the closing supervisor role when service is over. For the remainder of your shifts, you will serve strictly as the Floor Supervisor, running the front-of-house when the General Manager is off the clock. What You Will Do (Supervisory Shifts): Manage the
Floor:
Direct the flow of service and uphold excellent service standards. Actively touch tables, engage with guests to ensure complete satisfaction, and jump in to host, bus tables, help at the counter, or answer phones as needed. Close the
Building:
Execute all end-of-day checklists, ensure the restaurant is clean and secure, and lock the doors. Handle the
Money:
Reconcile cash registers, run nightly sales reports, and securely deposit cash into the safe. Protect the
Product:
Keep a sharp eye on bar inventory, supplies, and overall FOH operational standards. What You Will Do (Bartending Shifts):
Pour & Serve:
Deliver excellent, high-volume service to our bar guests for two dedicated shifts per week, working collaboratively with our current bar team. Transition to
Closer:
As the evening business slows down and the General Manager departs, you will take over the floor to execute all end-of-day financial, security, and building closing procedures alongside your standard bar close.
What We Need From You:
Full Availability:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including lunches, dinners, and weekends.
Trust & Reliability:
You will be a Key Holder. Honesty and accountability are non-negotiable.
Experience:
Previous high-volume bartending experience is required. Prior shift-lead, key-holder, or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
Hustle:
A willingness to do whatever it takes to support the team, from pouring drinks to wiping down tables.
Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
