Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing exceptional customer service, and efficiently managing bar operations. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, POS systems, and food safety standards, particularly within fine dining or nightclub environments. The bartender will be responsible for serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, serving drinks, and addressing inquiries Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy, utilizing retail math and cash handling skills Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service Uphold all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service in various settings such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet events Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple guests efficiently Skills Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Excellent time management abilities to handle high-volume service periods Experience in sales and upselling beverages to enhance guest experience Background in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and retail math calculations Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospitality setting such as a restaurant or bar environment Previous experience with catering or event bartending is a plus Familiarity with brewing processes or the food industry is advantageous Join our team as a bartender who is passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering memorable experiences for our guests.
