Barback/ Floor Support

Soufiane at The Morris is seeking energetic and hospitality-focused Floor Support team members to help deliver exceptional guest experiences. This position plays a critical role in supporting servers, bartenders, and management while ensuring the dining room operates smoothly and efficiently. Floor Support team members assist with food delivery, table maintenance, guest service, and overall dining room presentation. Responsibilities Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests Assist servers with water service and table maintenance Clear and reset tables according to restaurant standards Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room Support opening and closing side work responsibilities Assist with polishing glassware, silverware, and service equipment Monitor guest needs and communicate with service staff Help maintain a welcoming and polished dining environment Work collaboratively with front-of-house and back-of-house teams Qualifications Restaurant experience preferred but not required Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and service equipment Strong communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays What We're Looking For We are looking for team members who take pride in hospitality, enjoy working as part of a team, and understand that every role contributes to the guest experience.
