THIS POSITION IS FOR A NEW OPENING FOR A BEER GARDEN IN LOVE PARK PHILADELPHIA RAN BY BROAD STREET BREWING
Position Summary The Quick Service Bartender is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and efficient beverage service in a high-volume beer garden environment. This position focuses on preparing and serving beer, mixed drinks, canned wines, and other beverages while delivering an exceptional guest experience in a quick-service setting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere, maintains strong awareness and urgency during service, and creates a welcoming and energetic environment for guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve beer, mixed drinks, canned wines, and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and hospitable manner Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service according to state and company guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service stations, coolers, and surrounding guest areas Restock beer, canned beverages, liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice, and anything else needed throughout shifts Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash/card transactions responsibly Maintain awareness of guest flow and assist in keeping lines moving efficiently Follow all drink recipes, portion standards, and operational procedures Assist with opening duties, prep work, stocking, breakdown, and closing responsibilities Communicate effectively with barbacks, support staff, kitchen staff, and management during service Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards Qualifications Previous bartending or high-volume service experience required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Strong communication and guest service skills Knowledge of beer, basic mixed drinks, and alcohol service standards required Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and urgency Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and event days Ramp certification required Skills & Attributes Strong sense of urgency Hospitality-driven mindset Team-oriented attitude Ability to remain composed during high-volume service Organized and detail-oriented Professional and energetic demeanor Strong multitasking abilities Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift kegs, cases, ice buckets, and bar supplies safely Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout shifts Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
