Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about craft cocktails, Italian spirits, wine, and exceptional guest experiences. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining precision, warmth, and professionalism. A successful bartender combines technical excellence with genuine hospitality—creating memorable guest experiences through thoughtful service, beverage knowledge, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hospitality
Deliver warm, attentive, and engaging hospitality to every guest.
Build rapport with guests and create an inviting bar atmosphere.
Anticipate guest needs and personalize recommendations.
Maintain a polished, calm, and professional demeanor during high-volume service.
Handle guest concerns professionally and elevate issues when necessary.
Beverage Preparation & Service
Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, espresso beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks to recipe specifications.
Execute classic and house cocktails with consistency and precision.
Maintain strong knowledge of Italian aperitivi, amari, vermouths, spirits, wine, and seasonal beverage offerings.
Ensure accuracy in pouring, batching, garnishing, and presentation.
Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and ID verification procedures.
Product Knowledge
Develop in-depth knowledge of cocktail menus, spirits, wine lists, beer selections, and food pairings.
Confidently guide guests through beverage selections and upsell appropriately.
Stay educated on seasonal menu changes and new beverage programs.
Bar Operations
Set up and break down the bar according to opening and closing procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all bar areas.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages.
Assist with batching, juicing, syrups, infusions, garnishes, and prep.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
Teamwork & Culture
Work collaboratively with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management.
Support service flow during peak periods.
Foster a positive, professional, and hospitality-focused team environment.
Assist in training and mentoring newer team members when needed.
Qualifications
2+ years bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale, or craft cocktail environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
Italian wine and amaro knowledge is strongly preferred.
Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
Must meet all state alcohol service requirements and age requirements.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
