Jun 26, 2026 Be an early applicant Required Years of Experience 1 year Job Details Bad Brother is looking for a part-time Bartender / Server to join our small team. We are a family-owned neighborhood restaurant with a very small staff and limited support staff, so the ability and willingness to work both bartender and server positions, along with helping wherever needed, is essential. We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy hospitality, take pride in their work, and want to be part of a tight-knit team environment. We are currently primarily hiring for dinner service shifts, though there will also be limited daytime shifts available as we expand our hours for the upcoming summer season. Dinner shifts typically start at 4:30 PM. Lunch shifts typically start at 10:00 AM. Candidates must be able to reliably commit to 2-3 shifts per week. Greater availability and a willingness to help pick up shifts when needed is a major plus. Our menu changes constantly, so keeping up requires effort, curiosity, and attention to detail. Applicants should have a solid working knowledge of food, wine, craft beer, and cocktails. Our style of service is detailed but informal. We aim to bring fine dining-level attention to product and hospitality into a casual neighborhood setting. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of service fundamentals who can also connect naturally with guests and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Compensation We charge a 20% service fee on all in-house checks. That service fee is used to pay FOH hourly wages and help support competitive, livable wages for our BOH staff.
This position pays:
$20/hour base pay Additional tips through an FOH-only tip pool Staff in this role reliably average approximately $29-$32/hour pre-tax combined. Typical shifts are generally 6-8 hours.
