Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Manage cash handling duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring all details are handled smoothly. Engage with guests to promote sales of menu items, specials, or beverages, enhancing their overall experience. Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and cash handling. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within licensed establishments such as bars or nightclubs. Familiarity with catering operations and banquet experience is a plus.
