As a bartender, you'll play a key role in creating a memorable guest experience through professional, timely, and engaging service at weddings, galas, corporate functions, and private events. This is a great opportunity for seasoned bartenders who enjoy a dynamic, non-traditional schedule and love working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. big Catering brings the talent and menus from seven of Pittsburgh's best restaurant concepts to the events we cater. With our experience serving parties of every size and complexity, we approach each project with skill, creativity, and finesse.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including custom cocktails Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable bar service throughout catered events Learn specialty drink recipes as requested by clients (training provided at the start of events) Monitor guest experience and respond promptly to any requests or concerns Maintain a clean and organized bar area; immediately clean up spills and dispose of waste Support event flow by keeping pace with the event timeline and working collaboratively with the catering team Perform setup and breakdown duties as assigned (stocking, cleaning, organizing bar equipment) Assist with general bussing, cleaning, and guest support throughout the event Always uphold safe alcohol service practices and follow company and state guidelines

Catering Bartender Schedule Expectations:

Flexible, event-based schedule with hours varying depending on the needs of each event. This may include evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

What We're Looking For:

A minimum of 3 years of bartending experience is required (event or catering experience is a plus) Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Strong knowledge of bar service, cocktail preparation, and beer, wine, and spirits Ability to learn custom drink recipes for individual events Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Must obtain RAMP certification within 90 days of hire (we'll help guide you) Working with us offers you a great job and competitive earnings, plus the following benefits: 25%
