Job Description
Right in the heart of State College, PA you will find the newest entertainment destination. Happy Valley Casino has taken over in The Nittany Mall, bringing the area its first ever gaming facility! With two dining options, cocktail service, 30+ table games and over 600 slot machines, we are sure to be the number one entertainment destination in The Happy Valley! We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join the team at Aces Bar. This position plays a key role in preparing and serving high-quality beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and working collaboratively with the front and back of house teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest service. This position will report directly to the Food and Beverage Shift Supervisors, and will be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintaining knowledge of beverage offerings, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
- Providing exceptional customer service and engaging positively with guests.
- Ensuring compliance with all responsible alcohol service policies and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area in compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations.
- Handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Promoting positive guest interactions and public relations.
- Providing outstanding customer service and contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:
- A minimum of one (1) year of related bartending, hospitality, or food and beverage experience.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail preparation, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6-8+ hours per shift.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on business needs.
