Server/Bartender

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Server Bartender to join our dynamic team and contribute to the exceptional experiences we offer our members. SHGC pays employees an hourly rate. We are a non-tipping establishment. Server/Bartenders are eligible for overtime hours if desired. All team members are eligible for a Holiday Bonus at the end of our season.

Position Overview:

As a Server Bartender at SHGC, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service in both our bar and dining areas and event spaces. You'll be an integral part of creating an elevated experience for our members by delivering friendly, efficient service, crafting signature cocktails, and ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by anticipating and exceeding guest needs. Prepare and serve drinks, including craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Take food and drink orders and deliver them promptly and accurately. Ensure the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organized. Assist with food service in the dining area, including clearing tables and ensuring a smooth flow of service. Maintain knowledge of menu items and specials to effectively recommend options to members. Manage cash and credit card transactions and maintain accurate tabs. Follow all health, safety, and liquor laws, as well as club-specific policies and procedures. Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure seamless operation.

Qualifications:

Previous bartending and/or serving experience in an upscale or private club setting preferred. Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and bar operations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive attitude. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience in a private golf club or hospitality environment is a plus.
