!!• Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Cap Club Rooftop Bartender, where you'll be the heart Newport! In this energetic role, you'll craft exceptional cocktails, provide outstanding customer service, and create memorable moments for our guests. Your expertise in food and beverage service, combined with your lively personality and attention to detail, will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. This position offers a dynamic environment perfect for those passionate about hospitality, fine dining. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales. Manage POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially during high-energy nightclub or banquet events. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Experience Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, fine dining restaurant, or banquet setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently. Experience in retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions. Prior hospitality experience in the food industry or brewing environments is highly desirable. Ability to deliver exceptional customer service while managing busy shifts confidently.
