Bartender

Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits. Manage POS systems such as Toast POS and Square POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or small plates in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, adhering to responsible alcohol service policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, including banquet or catering events if applicable. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, fine dining restaurant, or banquet setting. Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS and Square POS for order processing and sales tracking. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totals. Experience in food industry roles involving serving, catering, or retail food sales is highly desirable. Knowledge of brewing processes or beverage crafting is a plus for enhancing guest experience. Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a lively hospitality setting.
