Job Description
Overview The Surf Golf and Beach Club - North Myrle Beach Join our dynamic team as a Server / Bartender and become the heart of an energetic, hospitality-driven, private golf and country club environment! In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while expertly serving food and beverages in both casual and more formal settings. Whether working at the bar or in one our dining areas, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable experiences for our Members and Guests for years to come. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your beverage knowledge, food handling skills, sales ability, and hospitality expertise in a one-of-a-kind private venue that values teamwork and professionalism. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using our ClubEssentials POS systems. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Ensure proper billing and payment processing. Provide excellent customer service by addressing Members and Guest inquiries, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations and food handling protocols. Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup during shifts, including restocking supplies and preparing bar areas for service. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or special events like banquets or nightclub gatherings. Requirements Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or banquet environments is a must. Minimum of 2 years experience . Proficiency with POS systems; experience with cash handling and basic math skills are essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with licensing laws; bartending experience is a plus. We value hard work, strong ethics and a positive attitude!
