Dining Room Manager The Country Club of Spartanburg is seeking experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven bartenders to join our food and beverage team. Our club offers a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere where members gather to relax, socialize, and enjoy exceptional service throughout the day and evening. We are looking for individuals who are personable, dependable, professional, and passionate about creating memorable member experiences. Private club, upscale dining, or high-volume hospitality experience is preferred. Competitive hourly pay plus tips Health benefits available for eligible full-time employees 401(k) eligibility Paid time off and holiday benefits for eligible employees Complimentary employee meals during shifts Professional, team-oriented work environment Daytime and evening shifts available Opportunity to work in multiple club dining and social environments Qualifications Previous bartending experience required Private club, upscale dining, or hospitality experience preferred Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions Daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred Essential Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Maintain knowledge of club menus, daily specials, wines, and spirits Provide attentive service at the bar and throughout dining areas as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, service stations, and dining spaces Monitor member satisfaction and respond promptly to requests Process member charges and payments accurately Maintain proper inventory, stocking, and bar setup procedures Follow all alcohol service regulations and club policies Communicate member feedback or operational concerns to management Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties Work collaboratively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional member experiences What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to build relationships with members and guests Team-oriented mindset Attention to detail and commitment to hospitality excellence Ability to thrive in both relaxed and high-volume service periods Licenses & Certifications Alcohol service certification preferred Food safety certification preferred Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion Ability to work in fast-paced indoor and outdoor environments as needed If you are passionate about hospitality and enjoy creating exceptional experiences for members and guests, we would love to meet you.
