Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including Craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create an inviting atmosphere and promote repeat business. Manage POS systems such as Toast efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and safety protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties such as giving change and balancing registers at shift end. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality or service speed. Assist in training new team members on food handling procedures, POS operation, and customer service standards. Stay informed about menu updates, brewing techniques, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender is highly preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using POS systems like Toast. Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest interactions. Experience with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Familiarity with banquet or catering environments is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of the food industry trends, brewing processes, and beverage preparation techniques enhances your effectiveness in this role. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service standards.
